If you're not aware, every weekday from Noon-3pm EST I do a live sewing broadcast on Twitch.tv. It's a social video streaming platform that's an amazing corner of the internet. Once a month I do a Sew-A-Long, and this month it's PJ Pants! If you'd like to join us, you don't have to do anything but ready the items below, and join me starting at Noon on Monday, January 23rd!
Here's what you'll need for an adult pair of PJ Pants:
-1 Pair of existing PJ pants or Leggings
-2.5 yards of fabric (you'll want something pajama esque like flannel. but they're your pants in the end!)
-1/2 inch elastic (enough to go around your waist unstretched)
-Safety pin or elastic threader
-Coordinating thread, scissors, sewing machine, all that fun stuff,
-Pattern Paper (parchment paper works) - Optional
-Pinking Shears - Optional
After the Sew-a-long, I'll post the video and some written instructions to go along with them here as well! I can't wait to see what you make!
